Why me? Understanding Karma

Meditation Half Day Course
@ Buddha Land KMC, Keighley
Sunday 27 September,10am – 1pm

In-person

The law of karma, or actions and their effects explains how our past actions shape our present lives. By improving the quality of our actions, or karma, we create the causes for deep and stable happiness.

Buddha explained that every experience we have is caused by our own previous actions. Good actions leading to happiness and negative actions leading to unhappiness.

Understanding Karma leads us to take responsibility for our own actions and thus to avoid blaming others. Accepting that we have created the causes for our experiences encourages us to put energy into improving our current actions. If we improve our actions and the minds that motivate them then we will create positive causes in our mind and experience greater happiness in the future.

Our half day meditation courses are an ideal way to learn more about meditation and inner peace. They are designed for those who are new to meditation but also for those who would like to improve and deepen their understanding.

Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.

The cost of the Meditation Workshop is £16 (Monthly Members £5, FP Monthly Members £0).
Our monthly membership programme offers access to all our weekly classes as well as discounts on courses for only £20 per month – Learn more.
