Stop the Week in Style
Friday night has never been so fine as at Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre’s monthly Stop the Week!
Relax at the end of the week at Buddha Land Centre, Keighley, with a guided meditation and delicious three-course vegetarian meal.
Arrive in time for a short talk and guided meditation, starting at 7.30pm. The teacher will lead you into a state of inner peace through encouraging your contemplation of a spiritual topic, and then guiding you in meditation on that topic.
In the refreshed and relaxed state of mind resulting from the meditation, you will then be served a delicious three-course vegetarian meal in our World Peace Café. During the meal you will have the opportunity to converse with like-minded people – and maybe pass on meditation tips to each other!
You can also invite your friends along: group bookings are most welcome.
To avoid waste, we cater for exact numbers so it is imperative to book (or let us know in advance) if you would like to come. Special dietary requirements can usually be catered for if sufficient notice is given.

Stop the Week in Style will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin, the Resident Teacher of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre and of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley. He is a Buddhist monk with 20 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
