Online Classes & Courses Terms and Conditions
Access to each online class whether video or live stream is per person – links and passwords to our online events are not to be shared.
Video recording, social sharing or downloading are not permitted.
Classes and courses are only for those in our normal catchment area – Keighley, Burnley and the surrounding areas of North Yorkshire & East Lancashire.
Online Classes & Courses Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking of each online class/course. We will give a full refund for cancellations received up to 24 hours prior to the start of the class. However, fees are non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of the start of the class.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you are not from the local area (see terms & conditions above).
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any class as circumstances dictate.
In Person Classes & Courses Terms and Conditions
Attendees to the Centre must make themselves familiar with and agree to the In-Person Classes General Information and Guidance Notes.
We reserve the right to refuse admission or to ask someone to leave a class/course who we feel is putting themselves or others at risk.
In Person Classes & Courses Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy
All Classes/ Courses must be booked in advance.
Full payment must be made online or in person at the Centre before the class/course.
We will give a full refund* for cancellations received up to 24 hours prior to the start of the class/course. However, fees are non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of the start of the class/course.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any class/course as circumstances dictate especially in the current COVID climate.
We reserve the right to refuse bookings from persons who repeatedly book and do not arrive to pay for the class/course thereby depriving someone else from a place at the class (as places are limited).
*For events taking place at venues other than Buddha Land centre or Burnley centre, there is a non-returnable deposit of £5. This is to cover our external booking costs.
Donating Cancelled Fees to International Temples Project
Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a registered charity. If you wish to donate any portion of your cancelled fee to the International Temples Project, please indicate this at the time of cancellation.
