Meditation Workshops

Meditation is a powerful technique for developing a peaceful mind, and for strengthening our good qualities, such as loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom.

Our Meditation Workshops are structured in two parts, with a short break between. The emphasis in these workshops is less on the development of Buddhist knowledge, and more on practising meditation together so that we are able to draw on the experience in our daily life to help us maintain a calm, clear outlook.

Each part of the wokshop includes an initial relaxation exercise, a clear explanation of the topic, and the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the topic, as well as the guided meditation.

These workshops are an ideal way to relax and re-energise, and are perfect for those who are new to meditation, or those who want to improve their meditation prowess.

Learning from Lockdown

Meditation Workshop

Saturday 27 February, 10am – 1pm
(available for 48 hours after on catch up)

In this workshop, we will take a practical look at how Buddha’s teachings and advice can help us deal better with the difficulties we have been or still are facing, during lockdown. We will also look at how we can use the wisdom we have gained during lockdown, to help us move forward into a better future for everyone.


Living Lightly

Meditation Workshop

Saturday 6 March, 10am – 1pm

Grasping at life and its problems can drag us down. By learning to take a step back and live lightly we can find joy and happiness and help others do the same.

Saturday 13th March, 10am – 1pm
(available for 48 hours after on catch up)

Even if your life is very busy with little free time, you can learn how to let go of stress, distractions, and unwanted thoughts.

Meditation is a powerful way to develop and maintain a calm and stable mind no matter how busy your life may be. This workshop will focus on developing the mental skills to take back control of your mind and your life.
