Buddha Land Centre
Saturday 26 November, 10am – 1pm
Keep a happy mind in the face of difficulties with simple and effective meditations for developing inner peace in a turbulent and changing world.
Although the change and uncertainty we experience in our world can be unsettling it can also be transformative.
Taking and giving is a beautiful and profound method to transform our personal problems and the sufferings in this world into the very means for experiencing love, joy, compassion and wisdom. This ancient practice brings mental peace and happiness, increasing our spiritual strength and our capacity to overcome the challenges and uncertainties of our modern world.
Half Day Courses offer the opportunity to learn more about Buddhist teachings and meditations for developing peace of mind. They are ideal for those who are new to Buddhist meditation and those who would like to improve. Anyone can attend this meditation event; it is suitable for complete beginners and those with experience. Everyone is welcome.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
The cost is £15 (£5 for Monthly Members and free for FP members).
This course will be taught by Helen Richardson, the Education Programme Co-ordinator of Buddha Land Kadampa Meditation Centre, Keighley, and a student of the Teacher Training Programme at Buddha Land Kadampa Meditation Centre.
