Tranquility and Inner Peace
Saturday 10 December, 10am – 1pm
Find calm to protect and nourish your mind with meditations for inner peace. This workshop teaches how to achieve and maintain a mind of tranquillity and inner peace through simple meditation techniques.
If our mind is peaceful, we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions.
Meditation is a simple yet profound method to improve the quality of our lives and develop tranquillity and inner peace. Through meditation we can learn to let go of the causes of our pain and dissatisfaction and gain the happiness and clarity that we seek. .
Half Day Courses offer the opportunity to learn more about Buddhist teachings and meditations for developing peace of mind. They are ideal for those who are new to Buddhist meditation and those who would like to improve. Anyone can attend this meditation event; it is suitable for complete beginners and those with experience. Everyone is welcome.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
The cost is £15 (£5 for Monthly Members and free for FP members).
